The conflict in Ukraine has caused a serious energy crisis in Germany, which previously depended on Moscow for 55% of its energy needs. The German Economy Minister called on the EU to cooperate in buying natural gas to reduce prices. According to him, the bloc should “collect its market power and place buy orders intelligently, combining countries so that each member country does not have to pay a higher price than the other”.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
