      1. The foreign ownership ratio in a public company is as follows:

      a) If there is any provision of that treaty, the treaty shall prevail.

      b) If a public company operates in a business line that requires foreign ownership, such regulations shall apply.

      If a business line is conditional on a foreign investor without specific regulations on foreign ownership, the maximum foreign ownership rate is 49%.

      c) If a public company operates in multiple business lines with different regulations on the foreign ownership ratio, the foreign ownership rate must not exceed the lowest level in those business lines.

      d) In other cases of a public company, the foreign ownership ratio is unlimited, unless otherwise provided in the company's charter.

      3. Foreign investors' investment in bonds is as follows:

      a) Foreign investors are entitled to unlimited investment in government bonds, government-guaranteed bonds, municipal bonds, corporate bonds, except for relevant laws.

      b) In case of issuing convertible bonds, the issuing organization must ensure that the foreign ownership ratio when the conversion is due to become shares or the deadline for buying stocks is in compliance with the provisions of Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article. .

      4. Foreign investors are entitled to unlimited investment in securities investment fund certificates, stocks of securities investment companies, non-voting shares of public companies, derivative securities, depository certificate, unless otherwise provided by the charter of issuing organization.

      Except for open funds, securities investment funds with foreign ownership ratio of 51% or more, comply with investment conditions and procedures as prescribed for foreign investors when making capital contributions and buying securities. , capital contributed by economic organizations.

      5. Public companies and listed companies report to the State Securities Commission and disclose information on foreign ownership ratio on their websites, the Stock Exchange and Vietnam Securities Depository.
